Strawberry...
Strawberry reminds of the youth's childish ardour.
The scent, the shape and the colour,
An elegant beauty of scarlet and green,
Engages the sight of beholder watching that sheen.
The aroma makes your taste ecstatic,
Tempting to have it by any tactic!
As you reach, ingest it in pure greed,
And find the silky fresh stuff so sweet,
But in your mouth, it soon will melt,
Can't even recall the joy you felt.
Desirous you are to have of it more,
And still despaired by the passing joy.
